What a wonderful weekend in Manchester meeting the Best brides in the North West!
We had a busy couple of days in Manchester last weekend! As always, a big thank you to all the amazing brides, bridesmaids, MOB, MOH and grooms – it was awesome meeting you all! Sadly, we were minus George on this adventure. He was down on Dartmoor, with some old friends from Uni, having a blast.
With the van packed up and sweets and drinks galore, we began our three-hour journey in high spirits. Sadly, the terrible Friday traffic resulted in a fairly hellish journey.
6 hours after leaving London we arrived at Manchester Central, tired and slightly twitchy. Thankfully, having done 5 shows recently, assembling our stand takes a matter of moments. With the stand looking fab it was time to check into the hotel and relax.
Saturday – Day 1
After a hearty dinner and a long sleep, we woke up feeling refreshed and ready for the day ahead. Manchester Central is a great venue and, as ever, there were plenty of awesome exhibitors at the show.
The doors opened at 10am and the crowds were close to overwhelming. Due to the mad rush, the next time I checked my watch it was already 2.30pm. Following a short break for lunch gave my legs a welcomed time-out before we were back at it again.
The doors closed at 5pm, we were all knackered after the busy day but spirits were high from our success. We packed up and headed off for some supper and one or two (maybe three) well-deserved drinks.
Sunday – Day 2
Day 2 was just as manic as the first, we had some additional help on stand, thus we managed to speak to even more people and the day flew by! We made some sales to some lovely people and we want to wish them all the best with the rest of their wedding plans.
Over the weekend we met some lovely brides-to-be and we can honestly say Manchester you are the best!
We packed up in no time at all and, after a great weekend, before heading back down the motorway to London Town.
