Exeter Wedding Fair – What a weekend!

Brides, cakes and some serious dance moves…..

Scripin Weddings exhibited at the Exeter Wedding Fair last weekend, and what a weekend it was! We met masses of brides and grooms-to-be. As always a big thanks to everyone that visited us – especially those who decided to have Scripin at their Wedding!

The Journey

With the car packed we set off on Friday lunch time. We decided to head down the A303 to get a view of Stonehenge (an obvious choice for the Next Wonder of the World). An absolute must-see for anyone and everyone who enjoys stop-start traffic with a bit of view!

We arrived at the Westpoint Arena amid a flurry of exhibitors setting up for the weekend. Wallpapers up, tv plugged-in and the stand looking good we headed off to the check into the hotel.

I booked the hotel myself and may have misread / not read the small print that said, 1 double bed and a pull-out camper as standard for a twin room. Needless to say George’s bed for the weekend was more military than hotel comfort.

The Wedding Exhibition

With people queueing 30 mins before the doors opened on both days, it was a busy weekend. We were flat out morning and afternoon, with plenty awesome brides-to-be telling us all about their upcoming weddings. We look forward to making those weddings even more memorable with a little help from Scripin.

The main event (the catwalk) is a spectacle. As George hadn’t seen it before I told him to check it outt! When he came back he was dumbstruck. This wasn’t any old catwalk, in fact calling it a catwalk does not do it justice. This was choreography to music with moves that made the crowd go wild, I’m not sure the video does it justice but George couldn’t handle any more filming!

All in all we had a fantastic time in Exeter, and we look forward to our next event at the Chelsea Town Hall on the 14th October!
